Give every product a clear identity: the crop, the origin, the variety and whether it is fresh or dried. Buyers need a practical description of what can be supplied.
The production and trade picture
Uganda’s Ministry of Agriculture reports fruit and vegetable exports of 191,508 tonnes for FY 2024/25. This is an export category total; it is not a production figure or a separate total for dried produce.
Fresh produce profiles can describe harvest stage, grading, packing and delivery timing. Dried produce profiles can describe the drying method, moisture, ingredients, storage and batch identity. Keep the two product forms distinct.
A clearer buyer conversation
Useful information to discuss and organise:

Crossgates brings supplier information and supporting documents together in a Verified Trade Passport so the business behind the product is easier to assess.
