EVIDENCE & IMPACT
Better preparation.
Evidence you can examine.
Crossgates is building a clearer route from business information to evidence review. Our aim is to help African enterprises become easier for buyers and institutions to understand and assess.
Progress in practice
Businesses guided with documentation and trade readiness over the past year
Crossgates-reported progress, updated 17 October 2026. Guidance is not the same as verification; not all businesses supported have been issued a Passport.

For a permissioned example or review discussion, ask the team for the issue date, review scope, sources, reviewer details and open gaps. Any business record shared must respect the supplier’s permission and confidentiality.
The public sample remains fictional. No country-level issuance totals, sales outcomes or customer endorsements are claimed here without supporting records.

How meaningful progress should be measured
This is our proposed reporting framework, not a statement of achieved results.
What goes in
Staff time, programme funding and specialist support.
Evidence needed: approved budgets, expenditure records and staff or reviewer time logs.
What is delivered
Business profiles prepared, evidence gaps identified and reviews completed.
Evidence needed: dated records, unique business IDs and documented review scope.
What changes
More complete evidence, fewer unresolved gaps and better-informed commercial conversations.
Evidence needed: baseline and follow-up comparisons. Sales or finance claims require supporting records and careful attribution.
Crossgates results: what is available now
Crossgates reports five Verified Trade Passports issued so far and hundreds of businesses guided with documentation and trade readiness over the past year. These are company-reported figures, updated 17 October 2026; an independently audited aggregate dataset is not published here. Our public record also includes launch coverage and documented field engagement.

| Commercial outcomes | Consented buyer or supplier confirmation and supporting order, payment or financing records. |
| Programme expenditure | Reconciled expenditure for the stated reporting period. |
Real activity. Clear limits.

Introducing STIV in Uganda
New Vision reported the STIV AI launch at Nican Resort Hotel in Lweza, describing its role in organising trade information for review. This independently documents a launch; it does not establish how many businesses later secured buyers.

Listening to buyers in London
Our published field record shows market visits and conversations at Spitalfields. The learning focus is practical: product details, supply capacity and the records buyers ask to see.
These are field activities, not claims of completed trade.

Verified participant stories need permission, a starting point, a dated change and supporting evidence. We will not present fictional examples as customer success stories.
